Abstract

Analysis of the geometric features of the flow path of the operating gate and ball valves of tube fittings made it possible to establish the zones of formation of the most intense blocking of the flow of the polluted medium, the speed of which is a significant factor in its aggressiveness. Recommendations for improving the effectiveness of the protective functions of the moving parts of the shut-off units are given.
