Abstract
The article is devoted to the essence of strategic analysis and improvement of its tools in enterprise management. The role of strategic analysis is described and the results of strategic analysis in enterprise management are demonstrated in order to achieve effective functioning of business from any economic sphere. On this basis, alternative strategies for the development of the enterprise are formed, their evaluation and the selection of the best strategic alternative for implementation are carried out. At the same time, special tools are used: quantitative forecasting methods, future development scenarios, portfolio analysis. Attention is paid to the strategy of the enterprise as a tool for the high degree of variability of the modern business environment with unforeseen events at the enterprise. Examples of tools and methods of strategic analysis that influence the improvement of efficiency, stability and sustainability of the enterprise are given. It has been proven that the tools that are the basis of strategic management for most managers today are strategic planning, benchmarking, mission and vision definition, customer relationship management and outsourcing. It is emphasized that the tools of strategic analysis are carried out at the early stages of the management process at the enterprise. It is determined which prognostic and calculation-analytical methods and models can influence the activity of the enterprise. It should be noted that the organizational and economic features of the research object have a significant influence on the methodology, technique, and tools of strategic analysis, which can help maximize profits at the enterprise. It is considered what is necessary to improve the tools of strategic analysis in enterprise management.
