Abstract

Micro-level drilling is a crucial production technique that is utilised in many different industries. In this experimental effort, research is conducted by drilling holes 600 µm in diameter, 5 mm deep, and 9 numbers apart. Because of its exceptional mechanical properties, highest corrosion resistance, and high-temperature resistance, Inconel 625 is chosen as the working material. The optimum relevant input variables are necessary to get better efficiency of machining effectiveness on that material. The process was carried out with micro EDM while considering different processes into account. In order to identify the ideal factors, optimisation methods like Taguchi analysis was adopte. According to the findings, current is the most important procedure limitation on TWR and MRR, preceded by pulse inactive time. An ideal process factor has improved the drilling performance of micro-EDM.
