Abstract
Today's Generation has totally been dependent on online social surfing and their usage as a part of entertainment. People share their valuable information through these social networking sites, information shared includes their interest, likes and dislikes. Several online social network (OSN) users are unaware of the numerous security risks that exist in these networks. OSN users readily expose personal and private details about themselves. Hence, some of the major problem associated with these OSN threats is due the Access rights given to the respective user. There need to a proper management of access control in order to protect the online frauds. OSNs currently provide simple access control mechanisms allowing users to govern access to information contained in their own spaces. Hence an advanced type of approach is required to overcome the OSN related problems. The designed system includes security modules wherein the content gets secured from some of the malicious OSN threats.
