Abstract

Silver nanowire (AgNW) film is a promising transparent conductive component for optoelectronic devices such as display applications. Improving the electrical conductivity of AgNW film without scarifying optical transmittance is a technical challenge. In this work, an effective route for reducing sheet resistance of AgNW film with maintaining optical transmittance is proposed. By adding silver nanoparticles (AgNPs) around the intersections of AgNWs, sheet resistance of AgNW film is dramatically decreased more than 78.7%. Meanwhile, transparency of the as-prepared AgNW film maintains the same level. The mechanism of conductivity improvement is also discussed.
