Abstract
Objective: The presence of monospecific dense fine speckle 70 (DFS70) pattern in immunofluorescence assay (IFA) without concomitant systemic autoimmune related diseases (SARD)-associated antibodies, could be an exclusion biomarker for SARD. Interpretation of DFS patterns could be subjective and inaccurate. We evaluated the performance of two conventional commercial assays [fluorescence enzyme immunoassay (FEIA) and line immunoassay (LIA)] for confirming anti-DFS70.
