Abstract
The 8th International Symposium on UveitisSani Beach, Chalkidiki, Greece, 19–22 October 2012The 8th International Symposium on Uveitis was held under the guidance of the International Uveitis Study Group at the beautiful peninsula of Chalkidiki. Embedded in the hills surrounding Thessaloniki, Sani Beach Resort provided a perfect setting for the outstanding 4-day meeting devoted to new insights in pathophysiology, diagnostics and therapy of uveitis with plenty of discussion in a familiar atmosphere. This article focuses on new and broadly interesting aspects presented during the symposium rather than giving a general overview over the meeting.
