Import substitution of software as a way to reduce enterprise costs

Abstract

The article describes the experience of developing the only Russian configurator for calculating well parameters and selecting a set of equipment for oil production. Its advantages compared to its foreign counterpart are listed, such as saving the customer’s financial and time resources, optimizing processes in the company and independence from external suppliers.
