Abstract

The much-anticipated Budget for the new Labour government was announced on the 31 October 2024. Of particular interest to NHS staff and gastrointestinal (GI) nurses is the section relating to health and social care. Following on from last month's column discussing the Darzi review (2024), this article summarises the critical criteria of the Budget as it relates to the NHS and GI nurses.
