Abstract

Endometriosis is a challenging health problem with devastating consequences on different aspects of a woman’s life. Though one of the most common gynecological conditions, its mechanism of action in relation to infertility still remains unknown. It is well known that oocytes and embryo quality are important factors in the female fertility journey. However, studies have presented some signals towards the adverse impact of endometriosis on oocytes quality and implantation success. Nevertheless, there is still a dearth of information regarding the impact of endometriosis on fertility. The goal of this research is to further study the effects of endometriosis on oocytes quality and implantation success. Objectives: To compare and analyze oocytes quality and response of endometrium stimulation among endometriosis and non-endometriosis patients. To compare and analyze oocytes quality and response of endometrium stimulation of both old and young endometriosis patients. To analyze implantation outcome in endometriosis patients and non-endometriosis patients, as well as both young and old endometriosis patients.
