Abstract

ABSTRACT This paper presents an action plan for implementing the Learning Management System (LMS) integrated Blended Learning (BL) for a teacher education programme conducted at Bangladesh Open University (BOU). To that aim, after reviewing existing practices and models, a plan, based on connectivism theory, is suggested for the university’s Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) programme. In particular, one case study is referenced from Vietnam. Strategic approaches to overcome weaknesses and to manage threats based on a SWOT analysis are suggested to ensure the successful implementation of the action plan.
