IMPLEMENTATION OF START-UP PROJECTS BASED ON UNIVERSITIES AS A DRIVER OF YOUTH ENTREPRENEURSHIP DEVELOPMENT

Abstract

The article considers the theoretical and practical aspects of creating "Startup sites" on the basis of Russian universities in the context of the driver for the development of youth entrepreneurship by activating students and incorporating them into the entrepreneurial environment by creating projects, including the preparation and protection of graduate qualification work in the form of a startup under the program of the Ministry of Higher Education and Science of the Russian Federation "Startup as a diploma." The article presents the most successful examples of startup ideas implemented at universities, both in foreign practice and in the practice of Russian universities. The main functions of startup sites, the mechanism of their functioning are considered, including the stages of implementation of startup projects based on leading universities are detailed. The author also provides statistics on the distribution of the most successfully implemented startup projects in the areas of activity for 2021, considered promising directions for the development of startup ideas from the point of view of investment attractiveness in 2022. Youth entrepreneurship is one of the most promising vectors of business development in Russia, it is for this reason that the state supports their aspirations to create their own business, this fact is reflected in many programs, for example, the All-Russian Program for the Development of Youth Entrepreneurship for 2022; Youth Entrepreneurship Development Program "New Business"; longterm programmes to promote youth employment up to 2030, etc. For the same reason, one of the main platforms for supporting the development of youth entrepreneurship is the universities of our country. Currently, Russian universities, trying to support the entrepreneurial initiative among their students, are creating a certain information structure for activating project work, creating business projects and bringing them to a startup.
