Abstract

This study aims to determine the process of implementing natural science learning using powtoon media in grade 3 SDN 002 Pulau Komang Sentajo. This research was conducted using a qualitative descriptive research method. In the implementation of this learning, planning and implementation processes are carried out. In planning learning the teacher uses lesson plans and teaching materials in the form of powtoon media with the material " Perubahan Pada Mahkluk Hidup". The implementation process is carried out with the preliminary, core and closing stages. The results found in this study indicate that students feel happy and enthusiastic and interested in the science learning process using powtoon media, besides that students are also increasingly interested in learning. However, the obstacle for teachers in using Powtoon media is in the development of the media. The use of Powtoon media was not carried out by the teacher because of limited knowledge about learning media.
