Abstract

Sickle cell diseases are abnormalities of human red blood cells while flowing in small vessels get stuck and block oxygen that essential to our body. The proper studies of the structures of red blood cells and classify it as per abnormalities of red blood cells plays crucial role in image processing. Also, the segmentation of overlapping and touching cells is challenging tasks in medical sector. The proposed paper introduces the automated method for identification of sickle cells and normal blood cells using methodology of the image processing and multiclass classifier for categorizations of various abnormal cells.
