Abstract
A technology is developed for automatic diagnostics of mechanical transmission units of transport and technological machines by built-in ("on-board") technical means and tested for bearing units of transmissions of tractors and drives of agricultural machines. The technology includes calculation of temperature in the friction zone, creation of a finite element three-dimensional model of an assembly with thermal loads for thermal calculation, calculation of the proportionality factor of the finite element model to calculate the temperature in the friction zone during operation and compare it with the maximum allowable value. A comparison of the temperature values obtained as a result of numerical simulation in the friction zone with the temperature during operation showed a high convergence of the results and the practical applicability of the developed technology.
