Abstract

Universities play a key role in the journey of the knowledge economy. In addition to their traditional role as creator and disseminator of knowledge, or incubator of innovations, they serve as models for exploring the use of information technologies in research and training whose information systems are part of it. Information systems (IS) have occupied a prominent place in all the universities in recent years and have become a lever for development and competitiveness. Universities currently have several information systems in their structures to evaluate and guide all missions in all its sectors of activity. These IS enable them to execute their management actions, write activity, forecast and share information among all their stakeholders. However, supporting users once a new information system is deployed is a very important part of the deployment process of this new tool. The purpose of this article is to demonstrate the usefulness of an intelligent tutoring system around university governance information systems, addressing an example of an intelligent tutoring system, designed for the effective use of two new government information systems of scientific research and academic cooperation of our university.
