Abstract

<p><em>This study aims to determine (1) the Implementation of Kurikulum Merdeka in SMK Negeri 1 Karanganyar, and (2) the Obstacles and solutions experienced by productive teachers in SMK Negeri 1 Karanganyar. This research uses a qualitative method with a case study approach. Research data sources are obtained from informants, documents, and observations. The sampling technique uses purposive sampling and snowball sampling. Data collection techniques with interviews, observation, and document analysis. Data validity using triangulation of sources and techniques. The data analysis technique uses an interactive model. The results showed that: (1) Implementation of Kurikulum Merdeka is carried out in two stages, that is, (a) Planning includes the design of KOSP, design of ATP, planning of learning and assessment, use and development of teaching materials, planning of P5, (b) Implementation of learning includes implementation of P5, application of student-centered learning, integration of assessment in learning, learning according to the learning stages of students, collaboration between teachers for curriculum and learning purposes, collaboration with parents/families in learning, collaboration with the society/community/industry, reflection, evaluation, and improvement the quality of curriculum implementation. (2) The obstacles are: (a) Teachers have difficulty translating the Kurikulum Merdeka learning process, (b) Limitations of teaching tools used by teachers. The solutions are: (a) Attend education and training related to Kurikulum Merdeka, (b) Schools provide teaching tools supporting implementation.</em></p>
