Abstract

The School Literacy Movement which has been carried out in the last few years has produced results, namely the increasing interest in reading in Indonesia. However, with the Covid-19 pandemic, of course, there are new obstacles and challenges in organizing the School Literacy Movement, especially in elementary schools. This study aims to determine how the implementation of the school literacy movement at the elementary school level during the Covid-19 pandemic and what obstacles are faced and how to solve them. This research is qualitative research using documentation data collection techniques and literacy studies. The results of this study are to describe how the implementation of the School Literacy Movement at the elementary school level in Indonesia during the Covid-19 pandemic, one of which is the Sibatu Guli and Tugu Berseri programs. And then, describing the obstacles faced by students, parents of students and teachers that can be overcome with digital reading on existing platforms such as the Story Jump web tool, Literacy Cloud, and other platforms.
