Abstract

Objective To explore the impacts of WeChat on transitional nursing in patients with coronary heart disease and interventional therapy. Methods A total of 80 coronary heart disease patients received interventional therapy were selected and randomly divided into observation group and control group, with each group 40 cases. The patients of control group were given routine health education, while the patients of observation group were given transitional nursing by WeChat public account and chat group. We compared the results of SAS and SDS, compliance of taking medicine and rehabilitation, and ADL scores between two groups when patients came back hospital for reexamination at three months after discharge. Results At reexamination, the scores of SAS, SDS and ADL in observation group were (42.50±5.08), (40.71±5.85), (85.33±11.12) better than those of the control group (t=2.342, 2.593, 2.456; P=0.019, 0.009, 0.016); the compliance of taking medication and rehabilitation excises were (17.69±3.03), (51.30±1.28) which were statistical significant better than scores of the control group (t=2.325, 3.028; P=0.021, 0.003). Conclusions WeChat has positive impacts on transitional nursing in patients with coronary heart disease and interventional therapy. It can improve patient′s self-care ability, reduce negative emotion, and improve the compliance of taking medicine and physical exercise rehabilitation, which is worthy of promotion.
