Abstract

It is important to consider the potential benefits of games as much as their harms, because the nature of these games has changed dramatically over the last decade, becoming increasingly complex, diverse, realistic, and inherently social. The aim of this study is to compare the visual scanning, attention, and memory functions of young people between the ages of 18–24 according to their playing online computer games (First Person Shooter games).
