Abstract

The technological growth taking place in the world today is doing so very rapidly and there are new advancements being made with each passing day and this is possible owing to the large number of extensive programmes of technological research currently being done by a large number of researchers working within non-profit research organizations, business and universities. The developments being made today are very strong and are very pervasive forces in the business environment today. Technology can easily be referred to as the scientific knowledge to the practical problems we are experiencing in the world today. There is no denying that the impact of technology in the world today is huge and can be categorized into how it affects our society in general and students in particular. Technology has greatly helped us to become more efficient thus increasing our productivity. Technology has changed society throughout history. It is imperative that teachers of the 21st century adjust to the technological revolution and not only prepare themselves but prepare their students for the technological real world. This empirical study gives us an insight of different dimensions based on the field work carried out in district Rajouri of Jammu. The aim of the theoretical analysis of technology and society is to develop an understanding of the variables to gauge the impact on students of 9th and 10th grade. This enables us to understand, explain, analyze, and identify the present scenario and future mechanisms that help us out to look for positive and negative impact of technology.
