Abstract
This chapter explores the positive and negative impact of technology and social media on couples’ relationships. Issues of Internet infidelity and technology addiction are explored through a family ecological lens, and the changing nature of couples’ communication with one another due to technological advances are discussed. Assessment and treatment implications are provided along with an illustrative case study.
