Abstract

To utilize available data within social media platforms such as Facebook and Twitter to examine the prevalence of academic citations of vascular surgery literature. Limited data are present on the topic of social media effect on literature within surgical subspecialties and as a result the significance of its impact on the exposure of meaningful publications.
