To investigate the impact of direct access to outpatient physical therapy on hospital readmission rates for individuals post mild traumatic brain injury (mTBI). Prior to initiation of this quality improvement project, patients were recommended to follow-up with physiatry which required a three to four month wait. In 2018-2019, thirty-day ED readmission rates for mTBI were 13.61%.
