Abstract

The purpose of this study is to find out the impact of COVID-19 coverage on the anxiety of health workers in Sumber Agung Pharmacy Doctor's Practice. The theory used as the basis in this study is a theory initiated by Harold Lasswell that states there are five indicators or elements in communication namely 1) Communicators, 2) Communion, 3) Messages, 4) Media, and 5) Effects. This research uses a discrete research design with qualitative approach. Data collection techniques used through interviews, observations and documentation. Research informants are taken from the proposal of policy makers and stakeholders. Data analysis techniques use analysis and interactive consisting of data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing. Based on the results of research on the impact of COVID-19 news on the anxiety of health workers in the Practice of Doctors Apotek Sumber Agung can be said to have fulfilled the elements of communication according to Harold Lasswell. News of the development of COVID-19 that is reported continuously has influenced and changed the attitudes, behaviors, concerns, and anxieties of health workers in the Practice of Sumber Agung Pharmacy Doctors
