Abstract
This study was conducted to determine the effect of age groups (The first group from 4-8 months, the second group from 9-12 months, and the third group from 13-16 months), on some parameters of cellularity of male and female local goats, at College of Agriculture, Al-Muthanna University, from 1/10/2022 to 1/5/2023. Blood samples were collected from the slaughterhouses at Al-Muthanna Governorate for males and females of local goats. The results indicated that the third age group (13-16 months) led to a significant increase on WBC, RBC, HCT, MCV and MPV in the blood of local male goats, significant decrease on RBC, HCT, MCH and MCHC with a significant increase in MPV in the blood of local female goats.
