Abstract

The paper aims to propose a comprehensive methodological framework for assessing the impact of future transport system operation and management scenarios in the era of multimodality. The main concepts of group decision making are discussed and then, a step-wise traffic management framework for assessing alternative strategies at a city level is developed. An extensive list of criteria is provided, as well as the corresponding measurable Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), derived from a European-wide survey addressed to mobility stakeholders.
