Abstract

Immunoproteomics is used to design algorithms for mapping the potential B– and T–cell epitopes, identifying surface–associated proteins and the potential binding sites that lead to the development of new vaccines. This article reviews that the applications of immunoinformatics for designing in silico vaccination the molecular modelling. All these efforts of immunoinproteomics will save time and also reduce the cost. The experimental determination of epitopes is expensive in terms of time, cost, time as well as effort; however, there is need for computational methods for reliable identification of B–cell epitopes. In this review, we use different methods as well as many immunoproteomics algorithms, resources for the prediction of T– and B–cell immune epitopes for epitope vaccine development and protective immunity analysis.
