Abstract

The present review presents possible changes in immunological parameters that arise under the influence of surgery as a whole and individual special cases of immunological disorders after cesarean section surgery in various pathological conditions. The role of Th1- and Th2 lymphocytes acting as markers of purulent and septic complications for various infectious agents is considered; Th17- and Treg lymphocytes regulating inflammatory activity; mucosal-associated invariant T cells (MAIT - mucosal associated invariant T) and NKT cells (Natural Killer T) capable of assuming Th17 function in the absence of adaptive immunity activity in sepsis patients. Based on the results of scientific papers, possible immunological indicators of the risk of developing purulent and septic complications after cesarean section are justified, which can be used to develop a program of personalized immune therapy.
