Abstract
This research aimed to identify and analyze barriers that prevented full and universal access to health services offered by the public health network, by Haitian immigrants residing in the city of Toledo, State of Parana. To achieve the objectives outlined in the research, a standardized questionnaire was applied, which had informants from Haitian immigrants living in the municipality. Based on the results found, the description of barriers to access to health services offered by SUS was carried out. From the data analysis, it was found that linguistic differences and the lack of circulation of information about SUS constituted the most severe barriers to access to public health services by Haitian immigrants.
