Abstract
IMEC’s CATHEDRAL-II system is a design-style-specific system for the synthesis of digital signal processing (DSP) chips. CATHEDRAL-II includes transformations, data path synthesis, scheduling, and controller design. See also IMEC’s CATHEDRAL-2nd System, IMEC’s CATHEDRAL-III System, and Philip’s PIRAMID System, which uses the CATHEDRAL-II system as its synthesis engine.
