Abstract

Inflammatory arthritis and crystal-induced arthropathies encompass a diverse range of pathologies characterized by overlapping clinical and laboratory features. Given their potential to cause irreversible joint damage with downstream implications, such as emotional and financial burden, early diagnosis is paramount for initiating timely treatment. With the evolution of various imaging techniques, it becomes crucial for healthcare providers to be well-versed in selecting the most appropriate imaging modality for their specific clinical inquiries. This review highlights commonly employed imaging studies for assessing rheumatic diseases.
