Abstract
Abstract With increase in number of oncological diagnoses and advances in cancer therapy there are a greater number of diagnosed oncological patients. This patient population is susceptible to disease processes and complications that can be a result of therapy, disease burden, or their hematological and immunological compromised status. The Radiologist must be aware of emergent diagnoses seen in these patients, promptly consider them in case consultation, and suggest further imaging and management. We review the imaging of oncological emergencies in the central nervous system, thorax, and abdomen. Common diagnoses and imaging findings are discussed by case example.
