Abstract

The present work analyses those lexical, syntactic and morpho-structural characteristics that make legal a special text, by starting with an overview of the main theories formulated in order to define the study object and the boundaries of a specialty text. So, through a twofold analysis perspective, special language and text, the paper examines the Spanish case’s peculiarities, making a distinction between the different text kinds, and focusing on the content organization. The work represents a premise for a more articulated one, having as its object the mortis causa acts, considered in a comparative-contrastive perspective -Spanish-Italian
