Abstract

Background and Aims : Aim: The interleukin-1 receptor accessory protein (IL-1RAP) is required for signaling of several IL-1 family cytokines, including IL-1α and IL-1β which have been shown to promote plaque progression and inflammation, as well as IL-33 and IL-36. In this study we investigated the effects of a novel non-depleting blocking anti-IL-1RAP antibody on plaque burden and plaque inflammation.
