Abstract

Did you know that, according to Wikipedia, Nicola Tesla became interested in demonstrations of electricity conducted by his physics professor? He later wrote that the demonstrations of these “mysterious phenomena” made him want “to know more of this wonderful force.” Exposing students to new technologies and how they work might be what it takes to spark a student’s curiosity about science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) professions.
