Abstract

The IDS Project was formed in 2003 to improve resource sharing among the State University of New York colleges. Over the years it grew from the original 12 to over 120 libraries. While the focus has always been on community, there has also been a strong developmental desire and innovative push from its members. IDS Project has developed many systems and tools over the years and continues to support resource sharing among all libraries and not just its members.
