Abstract
Background: It is assumed that the prevalence of arterial hypertension (AH) in type 2 diabetes (T2D) is approximately 1.5-2.0 times greater than in nondiabetic population. There are several criteria for definition of AH (ESC/ESH or ACC/AHA) in T2D and it is essential which of them is better to apply in Azerbaijan.
