Abstract
In the traditional teaching mode, teachers pay more attention to the teaching of professional theoretical knowledge and professional skills in the teaching process of structural optimization design courses, and often ignore students' ideological and political education, which leads to students in the process of structural optimization design. Due to lack of self-learning ability, ability to think and solve problems, and firm will to complete the design task efficiently. This article starts from the overview of the structural optimization design course, expounds the current ideological and political situation of the structural optimization design course, and explains the three aspects of the structural optimization design from three aspects that are conducive to cultivating students’ moral quality, improving students’ autonomy, and training students’ determination. It is necessary to carry out ideological and political teaching in the course, and propose several ideological and political teaching exploration strategies for the existing structure optimization design course teaching, hoping to improve the patriotism and professional quality of college students.
