Abstract

ABSTRACT The use of a multimeter as an electrical measuring instrument requires a proper understanding of the procedures for its use. This study aims to determine errors in using multimeters in students taking analog electronics courses. This descriptive study uses data collection tools in the form of interviews and observation sheets of student activity measuring resistance, voltage, and current. The results showed the average percentage of the number of student groups who made mistakes in measurements: (1) resistance by 27%; (2) voltage by 37%; (3) current by 50%. These findings indicate that students still need a better understanding and practice of the procedures for using analog multimeters. KEYWORDS: error, resistance, voltage, current, multimeter ABSTRAK Penggunaan multimeter sebagai alat ukur listrik memerlukan pemahaman yang tepat mengenai prosedur penggunaannya.
