Identification of criteria for failure to a nano-sized rod under cyclic loading in the framework of the molecular dynamics method

Abstract

The paper is devoted to the identification of the signs of crystal structure failure under the cyclic uniaxial action with a constant amplitude. A 3D coppers crystal shaped as a rectangular parallelepiped is used as the physical system. The calculations are made by means of molecular dynamics method.
