Abstract
Decorated tracks of minimum ionizing particles, including muons, relativistic shower particles and positrons from beta-decay have been identified in natural crystals of mica. Criteria for the selection and identification of these particle tracks against a background of crystal-related decorated features have been derived. A procedure for determining the sensitivity and duration of the recording period also has been found.
