Abstract
A 59-year-old woman presented with severely debilitating right shoulder pain. Her MRI C-spine showed large right paracentral disc extrusion at C5-C6 mildly compressing on the cervical cord. MRI of her right shoulder was significant for a full-thickness tear of her supraspinatus-infraspinatus with moderate muscle atrophy and fatty degeneration. The patient worked on an assembly line where she had to perform a consistent overhead motion which exacerbated her shoulder pain.
