Abstract

Spinal cord stimulation (SCS) utilizing continuous differential target multiplexed programming (DTMP) has provided significant improvements on mechanical and thermal hypersensitivity in early stage of an animal model of neuropathic pain. DTMP also modulated gene expression within pain-related biological processes toward the levels of naïve animals1,2,3. A clinical study demonstrated long-term sustainability of pain relief in patients with intractable chronic neuropathic pain4. This study presents a peptidomics-based profile of a persistent neuropathic pain model the effect of continuous DTMP at different time point of the pain model.
