Abstract
This is the case of a 35 year old female presenting to pain medicine clinic with three years of aching pelvic pain, vaginismus and spasms of her pelvic floor. The patient reported multiple laparoscopies for endometriosis after which the pain had worsened. She had a history of hypothyroidism, Hashimoto’s thyroidits, interstitial cystitis, polycystic ovarian syndrome, fibromyalgia, factor V bleeding deficiency, post-traumatic stress disorder and depression. She had tried physical therapy, pelvic floor therapy, acupuncture, TENs, yoga, massage and other modalities over the years to which the pain did not improve.
