Abstract

AB is a 38 year old G2P0 with history of gastric bypass, retinal detachment, local anesthetic allergy, and complex regional pain syndrome (CRPS) of the left lower extremity. Her CRPS had been managed with a spinal cord stimulator (SCS), but the generator failed following an MRI. She underwent intrathecal pump implantation with SCS generator removal. The SCS leads were left in place for potential future use. Her pain was controlled on intrathecal fentanyl 245mcg basal dose, with 10 boluses/day, 30mcg each, up to a maximum of 542mcg/day.
