Ibn Khaldun and his civilized views, a comparative historical study

Abstract

Praise be to God who speaks the truth and guides the way, and prayers and peace be upon our Prophet Muhammad, the seal of the prophets and the leader of the messengers. He promised him and made them meet and get acquainted after: the city has a great importance in building society on the foundations of the Islamic religion. There is no doubt that the scholar Ibn Khaldun wrote about the development of society in a positive way, as he explained in Its introduction is that the meeting for man is necessary and that the Bedouin and urban generations are natural, so one of the reasons for choosing an objective was to make the difference between our writer Ibn Khaldun and what the Orientalist Gustave Labon mentioned about urbanization and civilization. three topics The first topic includes Ibn Khaldun's name, his life and the positions he held As for the second topic, it includes two demands: the first requirement in civil language and terminology, while the second requirement was in the different conditions of urbanization in terms of fertility, hunger, and effects on human bodies and their morals, construction and urbanization As for the third and final topic, it contains two demands, the first is migration from the countryside to the city, and the second is nervousness and its relationship to the city. One of the sources that I used in my research on his writing presented to Ibn Khaldun and a humble Arab hadith is Gustave Le Bon. In the end, it is an effort for the sake of seeking knowledge and learning, and there is no action of exclusion.
