Abstract

The main part of the article is a critical edition of Zenon Przesmycki-Miriam’s correspondence withWładysław Stanisław Reymont. There were 50 letters, and 13 have survived. They were written from1899 to 1907. Only 4 letters are Miriam’s autographic texts. The others were rewritten by WitoldKotowski during World War II on the basis of fragments or summaries of original texts. The articleshows the relationship between Przesmycki and Reymont from 1894 to 1908 and traces the historyof their correspondence.
