Abstract
On behalf of Anthropocenes journal, David Chandler interviewed Timothy Morton and Dominic Boyer in advance of the publication of their book Hyposubjects, under review with Open Humanities Press. The authors were asked to consider whether the anthropocene is used too much as a ‘short cut’ restraining thought; regarding the evolution of hyposubjects; about speculative realism and object-oriented ontology (OOO) and the role of withdrawal in their approach to hyperobjects.
