Abstract

In this paper, the object of research is the headframe of the mine shaft, which is used to lift the ore. The paper describes the features of the design, installation and operation in low temperatures and aggressive environments of the hydrostatic leveling system adapted for the considered design. This hydrostatic leveling system is a part of an integrated automated system for deformation monitoring of a complex building structure. The hydrostatic leveling system consists of communicating measuring vessels filled with a liquid. The free surfaces of liquid in the vessels form a single horizontal plane, the vertical position of which is measured by sensors. The hydrostatic leveling system can be equipped with any necessary number of sensors-vessels and it is not required to provide a line of sight between the sensors. The results of measurements of uneven settlements of the structure for fourteen months of operation are presented. Analysis of the measurement results made it possible to establish the factors that determine the uneven settlement of the structure.
